New pavilions will be opened, new themes will be added, and more new enterprises will be created
When it comes to the highlights of the Canton Fair, Wang Shouwen introduced that, first, a new pavilion will be put into operation. Besides the original pavilion of the Canton Fair, a new pavilion of 100,000 square meters will be built. Second, to add new themes, will add industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing, new energy and intelligent connected vehicles, smart life, pregnant and baby products, silver economy, testing and protective equipment and other new exhibition themes; Third, there were more than 9,000 new enterprises participating in the exhibition. Fourthly, there are more first shows of new products' debut. Preliminary statistics show that there are more than 300 new products' debut activities held online and offline. Fifth, normalize the operation of the online platform, which displays the operation mode of well-known cross-border e-commerce platforms. 141 functions of the online platform have been optimized.
According to the introduction, the Canton Fair will be held in accordance with the practice of three offline exhibitions, each period of 5 days, exhibition area of 500,000 square meters, three periods of 1.5 million square meters.
The first phase mainly focuses on industrial themes, including 8 categories of electronics and household appliances, machinery, building materials, hardware tools and 20 exhibition areas; The second phase mainly focuses on the theme of daily consumption goods and gift decoration, including 18 exhibition areas in 3 categories; The third phase mainly focuses on textile and clothing, food and medical insurance, including 5 categories and 16 exhibition areas.
